How to Do Great Work

Paul Graham explains how people find work they can become unusually good at: follow genuine curiosity, learn enough to reach the edge of a field, and notice the questions others have missed.

Why it stayed with me

I like that Paul does not offer a career plan. I keep coming back to his simpler way of working: choose something that holds my attention, build until I reach unfamiliar territory, and stay independent enough to pursue an idea before other people see its value.
