What stayed
The honesty of the struggle and the refusal to romanticise how long, lonely, and repetitive genuine progress can be. There are (real) stories where the protagonist keeps trying, you keep rooting for them, and finally they get what they wanted. Such a joyful experience to feel that. Goosebumps..
Why I recommend it
It makes perseverance feel human rather than cinematic. The victories matter because the film lets you experience every setback that came before them. Another great Vidhu Vinodh Chopra film experience.
